Job Description:

Assumes overall responsibility for the Finance Department, particularly in the functional areas of financial accounting and analysis, treasury, legal and tax compliance.



Responsible for system implementation and financial reporting. Responsible for the periodic preparation of financial statements of Funai Electric Cebu, Inc. in accordance with company policies and generally accepted accounting principles.



Analyze and interpret financial and related non-financial aspects of business plans in support of site strategy as well as the coordination of the site planning process. Identify significant problems, discrepancies, inefficient or ineffective methods or practices and develop alternative courses of action and recommends appropriate changes, revisions and solutions where applicable.



Responsible in maintaining the highest level of integrity in its business dealings with the people and organizations and operates consistent to the corporate highest ethical standards. Responsible in assuring that appropriate safeguards are in place, which have direct impact to the security of Funai assets.

Job Requirements:

"EDUCATIONAL ATTAINMENT REQUIRED College Graduate

Bachelor of Science in Accountancy

- With at least 10 years experience working in cost accounting and financial planning role in a manufacturing industry

With experience in a managerial position and integrated financial and manufacturing systems in a highly technical manufacturing environment

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED ?

- Knowledge on GAAP, Accounting Principles and Internal Controls

- Knowledge on manufacturing process

- Good working knowledge on ERP system or Computer-based Financial System

- Computer Literate

- High Analytical Skills

- Excellent Communication Skills

- People Skills

- Must possess commercial awareness

- Spread Sheet Skills

- Knowledge on Taxation

- Knowledge on Legal Obligations & Contracts
