  • We are looking for a Finance Manager who will be assigned to work with our offshore team for our client who is based in Australia. The role is expected to provide financial guidance and support to companies by ensuring that the financial data in the Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement are complete & accurate so that the business can make informed decisions.

    As the role is expected to work with foreign clients, we are looking for someone who posses good client-relations, presentation and communication skills.

    Responsibilities:
    1. Ownership of the Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statement
    2. Collecting, interpreting and reviewing financial information
    3. Reporting to management and stakeholders, and providing insight into how the company and future business decisions might be impacted
    4. Producing financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses, financial performance, and financial position.
    5. Management of the GL, accounting standards, policies and Group requirements.
    6. Reviewing, monitoring and managing budgets
    7. Developing strategies that work to minimise financial risk
    8. Drive business process improvement
    9. Manage financial compliance and internal processes
    10. Be responsible for the delivery of month end and year end reporting, monthly GL reconciliations.
    11. BAS/IAS, Payroll Tax, FBT, and Insurance lodgements
    12. Manage a team to deliver the above outcomes

    Requirements:

    An analytical mind
    Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships
    Commercial and business awareness
    Solid interpersonal & communication skills- written and verbal
    A keen eye for detail and the ability to probe data
    Ability to stick to time constraints
    Experience with several SME accounting software & addons (e.g. Xero, Workflow Max, Receiptbank, Keypay).
    Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, lookup functions, data transformation functions)
    Experience with business intelligence software is highly desirable (Power BI, Power Pivot, DAX etc.)
    At least 5 years experience in similar role
    Experience in both corporate and small business accounting
    Experience handling multiple clients
