  • Total Executive Management Portal, Inc. partners with a not-for-profit organization (NGO), supporting families living in ultra poverty and funded by the Christian Community, in their search for a FINANCE MANAGER. If considered, the candidate will be directly hired by them.

    Job Description:

    The Finance Manager will be responsible of the following:

    - Oversee Finance Department, Funds, Processes, Transactions, Internal Control and Team performance

    - Consolidate weekly requests from the bases and make fund transfers based on approved budget / requests

    - Weekly cash monitoring or as needed

    - Assist donor relations’ in summarization of monthly donations

    - Bimonthly bank reconciliations

    - Actual vs Budget monitoring

    - Identify fraud. Identify errors before they become a problem.

    - Ensure separation of duties between cashier and accounts clerk

    - Ensure standard documentation/policies and processes are being implemented across all bases.

    - Provide advice and guidance to base leaders and managers and promote financial awareness to maximize effectiveness by monitoring and challenging financial and organization performance

    - Check and balance (approval matrix) Internal audit/base visitation to ensure compliance.

    - Monitor inventory in the bases (delivery/consumption) and ensure the reconciliation of QB record with the physical record including the Port of Manila.

    - Timely and accurate monthly and year-end financial accounts including management reports that compare actual results to budget expectations

    - Monthly preparation of Financial Statement support schedules

    - Work with HR department on required regulatory remittances, including accurate and timely filing of employee mandated benefits to governmental agencies.

    - Centralized payroll processing

    - Assist HR in facilitation of other company sponsored benefits

    - Lead compliance with BIR Tax Exemption, PCNC accreditation and on time submission of BIR and SEC related documents.Monthly Reconciliation of accounts

    - Ensure base accounts are up to date with innovations regarding day to day activities

    - Establish training tools for new and existing staff and monitor their progress

    - Manage finance team including training, mentoring and problem resolution

    - Coordinate with and assist external auditors in producing the year-end audit report

    - Preparation of Certificate of Donations

    - Billing Preparations for Donors


    - Candidate must be a graduate of at least a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, preferably a CPA and with post-graduate education.

    - With at least 6 years experience in Finance and Accounting processes.

    - With at least 3-4 years of supervisory experience.

    - With experience in managing an Accounting or Finance team

    - Experience working for big accounting and auditing firms (SGV, PWC Phil, Deloitte, etc.) is preferred.

    - With strong leadership and coaching skills

    - Self-motivated

    - Preferably of Christian faith/religion.
