JOB SUMMARY

Leads month-end closing activities including consolidation, review, validation, and analysis of consolidated and separate financial statements of the Group
Reviews annual audited consolidated financial statements and the SEC Form 17-A of the Group.
Ensures adherence to the Group’s accounting and financial reporting policies, the Philippine Financial Reporting Standards, and Philippine SEC.
Collaborates with the stakeholders, including Group departments, internal and external auditors, and ensures timely communication as questions or issues arise.
Reviews and periodically analyzes the reasonableness of significant accounting estimates used in the preparation of the consolidated financial statements
Prepares the quarterly financial information materials to be presented with the Audit Committee and Board of Directors
Builds and strengthens the skills of the team by identifying, deploying, developing and overseeing the employees within the function. Provides leadership, training and development to ensure unified teamwork and alignment with the Group’s values.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company (payroll, invoicing, and other transactions)
Prepare business activity reports, financial statements, and forecasts, monthly and quarterly management reporting
Make sure financial legal requirements are met, compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
Managing and developing the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems
Aid management in financial decisions and assist in finding ways to reduce or maintain costs by studying financial reports and business processes
Manage and or supervise the Accounting and Finance team
Report to internal and external stakeholders regularly
Perform other ad-hoc tasks as requested

QUALIFICATION

Bachelor’s Degree on Accounting and/or Finance
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience from Big 4 accounting firms
At least 2 years of experience in managing finance personnel
Significant experience in financial reporting, auditing, financial process development functions
Has experience on navigating MS NAV/Business Central or any ERP system
Willing to work in Ortigas and BGC
Ability to apply IFRS/PFRS accounting practices and has in-depth knowledge of financial processes and infrastructure
Strong critical thinker and problem solver.
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft products (Excel, word, powerpoint) and knowledgeable on business policies and procedures
