JOB SUMMARY

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining Java applications that are often high-volume and low-latency, required for mission-critical systems

• Delivering high availability and performance

• Writing well-designed, efficient, and testable code

• Conducting software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging

• Managing Java and Java EE application development

• Ensuring designs comply with specifications

• Designs and develops user interfaces to internet/intranet applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle

• Integrates applications by designing database architecture and server scripting

• Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings

JOB REQUIREMENTS

MUST

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent

• At least 2 years of relevant working experience

• At least 1 year experience working for the current company.

• Required experience : Java, Java EE, RDB Engines (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.), Web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Object Oriented Programming (OOP) languages will do as long as you can quickly shift to JAVA, and MVC framework and OOP concepts.

BETTER

• Have work experience in Japanese company

• Having worked with Eclipse IDE and Apache Tomcat is a plus.

• Experience working for a Japanese company/project

• Used to working with version control software particularly GIT.

• Experience with bug tracking software such as JIRA or Redmine.

• Worked with open source software.
