Qualifications:

1. Vocational graduate of Hydraulic and Auto Mechanic or College level on Mechanical Engineering

2. With LTO license 123 restriction

3. With at least 2-year work experience on under chassis and hydraulic mechanic

Technical Competencies:

1. With technical knowledge on driving and heavy equipment handling and operation

2. With technical knowledge on vehicle’s and equipment’s repair and maintenance

3. Expert on vehicle’s and equipment’s parts and accessories

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Maintains company trucks or other transport and construction equipment in good working condition.

2. Inspects trucks, equipment, supplies, accessories and tools to identify defects/damages and loss.

3. Inspects truck or other transport and construction equipment on a regular basis and submits report indicating their condition. Sign/note the Pre-Use Checklist to ensure the real condition of equipment/vehicle.

4. Perform both major and minor repairs and maintenance of trucks or other transport and construction equipment.

5. Diagnose the reported uncertain conditions/trouble/defects of equipment/vehicle stated on Pre-Use Checklist and/or Incident Report.

6. Discern and prioritize the needs by accomplishing the Job Order and Request Form and make recommendations for parts procurement and maintenance schedule.

7. May make recommendations for equipment overhaul and provide evidence and reports or justification for these recommendations.

8. Receives, checks and approves the actual specification and type of the delivered parts to ensure the quality/quantity for the required job of the defective equipment/vehicle has been met and complied through accomplishing the JOB ACCOMPLISHMENT FORM and acknowledge it through signing the Delivery Receipt.

9. Ensures safety when carrying out own work. Follows the company’s Safety Policy and fulfills role as outlined in said policy. Follows safety standards/laws on driving and client’s safety requirements.

10. Cleans up the area or their portion of the work after its completion. This includes return of materials, equipment, tools, and accessories.

11. Submits the Daily Accomplishment Report for the work done on equipment/vehicle.

12. Ensure implementation, evaluation and improvement of QMS related to your function is being regularly monitored.

13. Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be instructed or assigned from time to time.
