  • Job Summary

    We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operation of the Housekeeping Department. In this hands-on role, you will look to drive the productivity, motivation and development of all Housekeeping Team Members, whilst ensuring high standards and company guidelines are maintained.

    Critical to your success will be an in depth knowledge of housekeeping services, including a solid understanding of effective cleaning methods, equipment, chemical used and manual handling techniques. Your demonstrable knowledge of rostering and scheduling, along with extensive experience in staff management, are essential to your success.

    Essential Job Functions

    1. Thorough knowledge of all Housekeeping procedures

    2. A hands-on approach with strong leadership skills and the ability to successfully supervise, train, guide and ,mentor staff and provide performance feedback to ensure maximum efficiency

    3. Supervise and inspect the cleaning of the guest rooms, casinos, public areas and back of the house; ensure compliance with accident/loss prevention programs, health/sanitation standards and regulations to achieve a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction through daily inspections

    4. Monitor labor costs and productivity output according to occupancy levels

    5. Issue duty assignments to staff reviewing the areas of concentration to ensure a smooth flow of the housekeeping operation

    6. Issue supplies/goods to staff at beginning of shift in order to control inventory and ensure proper supplies are available while controlling expenses

    7. Respond to guest requests, concerns and problems to ensure guest satisfaction

    8. Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis

    9. Perform any other job related duties as assigned


    Bachelor’s/College Degree


    1. Housekeeping experience preferred

    2. Previous supervisory responsibility preferred

    • Flexible and creative in problem solving

    • Tactful, reliable, positive and diplomatic

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills

    • Computer literate and knowledgeable in basic computer applications

    • Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift including holidays and weekends

    • Willing to relocate on a solo status
