  • The Housekeeping Supervisor reports directly to the Executive Housekeeper and is responsible for the overall operations of the Housekeeping Team. The Housekeeping Supervisor should ensure that the standards of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness throughout all the hotel rooms, areas and hotel exterior are achieved and in immaculate condition. Additional responsibilities but not limited to:


    • Ensures rooms are made as per company standards

    • Ensures efficient rooms turnover are at maximum per hour

    • Conducts quality inspections of all Guestrooms / Guest Floors assigned

    • Effective procedure in place to ensure 100% service recovery for guest complaints

    • Conducts daily briefings for proper communication and information dissemination to all staff, stressing on priorities of the day

    • Pays particular attention on the pest eradication activities and ensure daily / monthly implementation of pest control

    Public Areas

    • Effective supervision and inspection of all Public Areas to ensure that issues are resolved, if not prevented

    • Daily cleaning and maintenance of the Spa, pool area, F&B outlets, event areas and Basements.

    • Conducts daily quality inspection of hotel areas.

    • Routine inspections on all Public Area washrooms to ensure tip-top condition and amenities in place

    • Ensures 100% compliance on AC setting by randomly inspecting Back of House offices

    • Prepares a quarterly cyclical cleaning schedule for the Public Area attendants to implement


    • Ensures Housekeeping Storeroom is properly stocked as per agreed par level (not over nor under stock)

    • Conducts weekly linen /uniform reconciliation with laundry provider to avoid discrepancies at month end

    • Makes sure that all employees concerns are being address, monitored and given solutions with urgency

    • Quarterly visits / meetings to the Laundry Provider as a means of Check and Balance, both for linen and uniforms to discuss challenges


    • Preferably a graduate of HRM or any related field in the industry.

    • At least 2 years’ experience in a 4- or 5-star Hotel of the same capacity.

    • Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office,

    • Must have excellent presentation and communication skills (both verbal and written), and be extremely guest focused.

    • Must have attention to detail and have the ability to multi-task; follow up and leadership skills required.
