  • l. Position Objective:

    1. Oversee HR functions related but not limited to Recruitment & Placement.

    *ll. Key Result Areas/Job Responsibilities:

    1. Process all Personnel Requisition form / Manning (direct / agency hired) requirements of every Departments.

    1.1 Source out and conducts interviews with qualified applicants

    1.2 Use the Department’s computerized system effectively to log, track and report on recruitment activity. Place advertisement internally and on web.

    1.3 Conducts testing aptitude, personality, intelligence

    1.4 Schedule qualified applicant for in depth interview with the department heads and final interview with the HR Manager or upper Management as needed.

    1.5 Do the preparation of contracts of employment and sign off. Liaise with the successful candidate as required until the start date.

    1.6 Prepares request for background check of qualified applicants to SSD.

    1.7 Issue & check completion of pre-employment requirements submitted by qualified applicants.

    1.8 Prepares orientation kit for newly hired

    1.9 Orient new applicants regarding policies & procedures of the company

    2. Handles manpower reserve and qualification standards.

    3. Coordinates with manpower agency on the manning requirements of different departments.

    4. Prepares monthly headcount report of Agency – based staff and Special Projects Staff.

    5. Proven ability in working within the recruitment process in a pro-active HRD including short listing, interviewing and offers of employment.

    6. Join job fairs for and make job advertisements for sourcing out of applicants.

    7. Updates company website thru MIS on job openings.

    8. Practicum Training Development

    2.1 Orient practicumers.

    2.2 Prepares schedule, I.D., nameplate and training contract.

    2.3 Checking of timecard, evaluation form and narrative reports of trainees.

    2.4 Prepares certificate of completion of training.

    9. Development of Human Resources

    1.2 Prepares Purchase Requisition Form for office supplies and equipments.

    1.3 Support HR operations and ensures value-added quality service to staff.

    1.4 Updates employee’s bulletin boards on Human Resources memorandums.

    1.5 Performs other duties assigned by immediate superior from time to time.

    lIl. Essential Functions:Training Development

    1.1 Assist the Assistant Recruitment Manager in conducting trainings.

    1.2 Prepares and encodes data for manuals / hand-outs for seminars and trainings.

    1.3 Prepares materials used for seminars and trainings.

    1.4 Prepares Powerpoint presentation every training and seminars.

    1.5 Prepares certificate of training for participants of seminars/training.

    1.6 Update pictures of trainings and seminars in the employee’s bulletin board.

    2. Employees Social Activities

    2.1 Assisting different in-house Employees Social Activities.

    2.2 Prepares Powerpoint presentation for Monthly Birthday Celebration and Employee of the Month.

    2.3 Prepares certificate for Employee of the Month.

    2.4 Secure Cash Advance for the Cash Gift of Employee of the Month.

    2.5 Search parlor games for monthly birthday celebration and purchase prizes for the winners.

    2.6 Update monthly birthday celebrants, Employee of the Month and other Social activities in the employee’s bulletin board.


    1. Ensures all personnel requirements of each department are attended to.

    2. Ensures that pre-employment requirements submitted by qualified applicants are complete prior to start of work.

    3. Ensures that policies and procedures in Recruitment and Placement is adhered to.

    4. Ensure that all Recruitment Approval Forms (PRF), job description and person specifications are completed satisfactorily and appropriate approvals all sought before commencing recruitment activity.

    2.1 DOLE, PESO, Schools, Agency Coordinators

    V. Supplementary information (Requirements):

    1. Education / Training

    1.1 Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable university with two (2) years experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience to meet the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

    2. Experience

    2.1 With at least two (2) years experience in handling HR- Recruitment and Placement.

    2.2 Solid operational experience in a dedicated recruitment and selection role

    .2.3 Proven experience of working in a pro-active way and project managing a variety of recruitment campaigns simultaneously from start to finish.

    3. Personality

    3.1 Professional and Courteous.

    3.2 Well organized, detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks.

    3.3 Is a team player.

    3.4 Service oriented.

    4. Skills

    4.1 Good written and oral English communication skills.

    4.2 Highly good organized with the ability to handle high volume recruitment campaigns through to meet deadlines with minimum supervision.

    4.3 Excellent PC Skills (MSOffice, Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher)

    4.4 Ability to develop and maintain recruitment system.
