  • The Marketing Specialist serves as a primary point of contact for marketing and event outreach for the restaurants in the Metro. He or she develops infrastructure to maximize sales opportunities, develops sustainable relationships within target groups and ultimately generates business. Marketing Specialist collects and updates information about community and target markets. He or she will serve as the main point of contact for guests seeking to book large party events, and will actively seek out new events business to meet or exceed monthly sales goals. The position reports to the Managing Director and Shareholders.


    Creatively assess results and brainstorm new programs to cost-effectively generate awareness and trial among identified target audience segments.

    Implement social networking service (SNS) to promote the restaurant in the market.

    Execute and report on monthly goals set in partnership with Restaurant Manager.

    Collect and organize broad information about target audiences for sales and marketing efforts.

    Create a detailed database of key sales targets. Collect, record and organize appropriate information such as size, occupancy rates, key contacts, existing events, marketing needs, and more as identified.

    Work with design agencies to develop appropriate sales and marketing materials.

    Designs implements and attends events within the restaurants for sales and marketing opportunities and organizes and attends offsite events, to draw business into the restaurants.

    Staff marketing events to network, ensure marketing opportunities are fully leveraged and guest information is collected.

    Act as day-to-day property contact for an outside PR agency for media requests, events and initiatives.

    Analyze data and generate ongoing reports for the team that are clear, concise and easily digestible to ensure programs are effective and repeatable.

    Based on report findings, suggest and implement changes to optimize results based on goals.

    Contribute to guest satisfaction and return business by working service positions within the restaurant as assigned.

    Two to three years of marketing experience is required.

    Comfort level actively engaging guests and team.

    Knowledge and comfort level with MS Office, especially Excel.

    Prior front-of-house restaurant experience, as is a passion for food and the restaurant business are a definite plus.
