  • Job Responsibilities:

    Daily Operations

    Human Resource Manager are responsible for the recruitment, training and development of staff; administers salaries, pensions and benefits; and looks after the health, safety and welfare of all employees.

    Job Scope:

    Human Resource and Development

     Plans, directs and coordinates all activities concerning human resource development to reach maximum levels of employee productivity, retention and creativity throughout the workforce.

     Promote and contribute to a positive and healthy company culture.

     Maintain the work structure by examining and updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions together with the respective heads.

     Maintains, reviews and updates the company’s handbook on policies and procedures.

     Establishes a recruiting, testing and interviewing program

     Counsels managers on candidate selection, conducting and analyzing exit interviews.

     Oversees sourcing, screening, orientation and placement of manpower in the organization.

     Creates needs analyses and training recommendations in coordination with department heads, for the formulation, review and implementation of appropriate training programs for employee development.

     Ensures planning, monitoring and appraisal of employee work results by training managers on coaching and disciplining employees, scheduling management conferences with employees, hearing and resolving employee grievances and counselling employees & supervisors.

     Plans, organizes leads and controls employee relations activities geared towards maintaining and enhancing harmonious employee relations.

     Maintains a salary plan by conducting periodic salary surveys; Schedules and conducts job evaluations; Prepares salary budgets; Monitors and schedules individual Pay actions; Recommends plans, and implements pay structure revisions.

     Maintains employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends; Recommends benefit programs to management; Directs the processing of benefit claims; Obtains and evaluates benefit proposals; Awards and executes benefit contracts.

     Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable DOLE requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; and representing the organization at hearings.

     Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; Utilizes past and current records for analyses and basis for recommendations.

     Leads department meetings to review processes, performance and issues; Ensures specific organizational objectives as well as key measures are clearly understood and thoroughly explained to subordinates.

     Maintains and updates company directory and other organizational charts.

     Develops and monitors an annual budget that includes Human Resources services, employee recognition, sports teams and community events support, company philanthropic giving, and benefits administration.

     Selects and supervises Human Resources consultants, attorneys, and training specialists, and coordinates company use of insurance brokers, insurance carriers, pension administrators, and other outside sources.

     Conducts a continuing study of all Human Resources policies, programs, and practices to keep management informed of new developments.

     Manages the preparation and maintenance of such reports as are necessary to carry out the functions of the department. Prepares periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested, to track strategic goal accomplishment.

     Develops and administers programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the company.

     Participates in executive, management, and company staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.

     With the CEO, CFO, and community relations group, plan the company's philanthropic and charitable giving and other activities that promote corporate social responsibility.

     Recruitment

     Develops and builds hiring processes for a variety of levels from temporary staffing to executive placement.

     Communicate with department heads to get a clear view on their hiring needs and organizational goals.

     Manages the overall recruitment pipeline:

    o Define job description and document specifications.

    o Identify prospective candidates using a variety of channels.

    o Create a candidate persona for each open position to effectively entice talents for potential hires.

    o Conduct confidential interviews and assess credentials and fit to the company.

    o Follow-up references and conduct thorough background checks.

    o Present shortlisted candidates to department heads.

    o Present detailed candidate profile summaries.

     Directs the development of staffing strategies.

     Develops, streamlines and enhances staffing systems, tracking reporting and analysis.

     Leads sourcing and recruiting initiatives and processes to leverage networking and employee referrals.

     Handles university relations and oversees various sourcing and internship programs.

     Research into competitors and marketplace.

     Research and develop recruiting leads and various methods.

     Develop a sustainable candidate lead strategy.

     Advise Management on best recruiting practices.
