  • HR/PAYROLL STAFF 17K with 2yrs exp located in Pasay City

    Purpose

    To provide assistance to President and employees with respect to HR policies and procedures including: employee relations, recruitment, benefits and the health and safety

    program.

    Qualification:

    . Should be a female candidate with pleasant personality.

    . Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel)

    . Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

    . Demonstrated a strong commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.

    . Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all levels within the agency, maturity and discretion.

    . Demonstrated initiative and sound judgment.

    . Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

    . Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety act is an asset.

    . Minimum (2) two years previous experience related position.

    Human Resources Responsibilities

    . Advise and assist President/CEO on interpretation and administration of

    human resource policy.

    . Benefit administration including: Health benefits, travel allowances, etc

    . Administer recruitment activities including employee orientation, documentations, police check, etc

    . Responsible for processing semi-monthly payroll for approximately 50 employees

    . Process new hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, leave of absence and existing employee changes related to payroll.

    . Liaise and respond to any government or third-party agencies relating to payroll.

    . Ensure accurate preparation of all payroll tax forms and year-end summaries, including T4 preparations.

    . Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently

    . Collecting, calculating, and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll information

    . Compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages and reporting on this

    . Determining payroll liabilities by calculating employee centralized and state income, social security taxes, employer's social security, unemployment, and workers compensation payments

    . Resolving payroll discrepancies

    . Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedure

    . Prepared Petty Cash Fund for the driver and logistic delivery and other petty expenses.

    . Assist the Accounting department in terms of other expenses required.

    Health and Safety Responsibilities

    . Work with President/CEO to ensure all workplace accidents/injuries/illnesses are reported promptly.

    . Assist President/CEO in developing early and safe return to work programs and actively manage Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB ) claims process.

    . Perform other duties and projects as required by management.

    Work Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 5:30.

    Work Environment: Works in office environment

    Salary: 15K-17K
