Job Description Summary:

Recruitment and Employee Relation Specialist undertake all hiring activities, from advertising open roles to interviewing candidates and closing hires. Recruitment and Employee Relation Specialist responsibilities include connecting with potential candidates online and offline, screening applications and supporting hiring managers. Ultimately, you will be responsible for hiring qualified people while maintaining a positive candidate experience.

Detailed Duties and Responsibilities

Recruiting and interviewing new hires.

Update current and designing new recruiting procedures.

Search for and enforce new sourcing methods to find job candidates.

Build and report on quarterly and annual hiring plans.

Create and publish job ads in various portals; Implement new sourcing methods.

Network with potential hires through professional groups on social media.

Collaborate with hiring managers to set qualification criteria for future employees.

Screen resumes and job applications.

Conduct initial phone screens to create shortlists of qualified candidates.

Interview candidates in-person for a wide range of roles (junior, senior and executive).

Track hiring metrics including time-to-hire, time-to-fill and cost of hire.

Design, distribute and measure the results of candidate experience surveys.

Train and advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques and assessment methods.

Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process.

Maintain a database of potential candidates for future job openings

Performs other task that may be assigned.

Job Qualifications & Skills Requirements:

Graduate of Human Resource Management, Psychology or any related field

With at least five (3) years of working knowledge and experience in the related field is required for the position.

Experience as Recruiting Coordinator, Recruitment Specialist, Recruiting Managers

Experience in screening and interviewing job applicants

Knowledge of labor laws

High capacity for managing multiple tasks at one time

Ability to effectively manage high volume administrative tasks, data entry and high accuracy

Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and to make sound decisions quickly & efficiently.

Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), and able to build strong interpersonal relationships with employees and partners.

Strong analytical with high-attention to details, organizational skills and possess a good leadership style.

Hands-on experience with the largest job sites like Jobstreet, BestJobs, and Indeed

Knowledge of sourcing techniques on social media and niche professional websites like LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, & etc.

Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook tools, Excel and basic reporting tools

Ability to navigate multiple computer system windows, applications, and utilize search tools to find information.
