  • Description

  • Duties and Responsibilities:

    - Plan, direct, and organize the human resources procedure, and processes consistent with current government laws and Company’s goals

    - Contribute in the supervision of HR department and assist staff in resolving routine and non-routine issues in their respective areas

    - Advise and consult with department heads on employee and human resources related issues and other areas impacted by employment law

    - Manage employee benefit plans including health/welfare plans

    - Ensure readily available supplies of HR related matters e.g. uniform, office supplies, etc.

    - Keep track of leave time such as vacation leave, sick leave, birthday leave, bereavement leave, maternity leave and paternity leave

    - Directly administer timekeeping and payroll of confidential employees

    - Register all newly hired employees to payroll system, submit ATM application to payroll processor , encode ATM Account Number on Payroll System for newly hired employees

    - Compute and check 13th month pay semi-annually, sick leave conversion, and perfect attendance

    - Prepare final pay of separated employees

    - Complete termination paperwork and perform exit interviews

    - Tagging of separated employees into payroll system

    - Oversee that government dues and payments thru online and outgoing transactions are processed efficiently

    - Assist employees in processing documents in benefits, coverage, loans and contributions to government agencies

    - Computing and monitoring SSS Sickness, Maternity, Medical and Dental Benefits

    - Prepare Year-to-Date Reports, and Alpha list Report Annually

    - Prepare Personnel Salary Action Form to employees who passed their probationary or training period

    - Provide an excellent HR customer service by acting as a point of contact for HR general queries from employees through all forms of communication

    - Submit monthly report to HR Manager that includes:

    Feedback from Employee Focus Groups and other engagement methods and suggested actions

    Identifies ways in which line managers could be further developed to improve employee experience

    Statistical information that shows progress towards KPIs

    - Investigate problems and employee complaints particularly raised in the corresponding company meetings

    - Ensure resolutions raised as HR issues through constant managing the work outputs of HR Assistant within the committed period

    - Process and answer payroll question

    - Facilitate resolutions to any payroll errors

    - Perform payroll/benefit-related reconciliations

    - Perform payroll and benefits audits and recommending any correction action

    - Maintain current HR files and databases in relation to the area of responsibility

    - Maintain records related to grievances, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions

    - Update and maintain employee benefits, employment status, and similar records

    - Perform file audits to ensure that all required employee documentation is collected and maintained

    - Recommend process improvements on the scope of responsibility

    - Prepare training plans, train, mentor and coach HR Assistant (Compensation and Benefits) and recommend upgrades as applicable

    Guide HR Assistant (Compensation and Benefits) in implementing the compensation and benefits processes as well as monitoring his/her KPI

    - Practices safety and ensures good housekeeping on area of responsibility

    - Management Systems Compliance

    - Awareness and compliance to policies and procedures as required by the ISO 9001 Standards

    - Familiarize with the duties and responsibilities of HR Manager and other HRD Sections

    - Perform other related functions which may be assigned by the superior from time to time

    Qualifications:

    - Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Development and related field

    - With 3 years of experience in supervisory role and handling Human Resources Management functions particularly compensation and benefits, employee relations, and labor relations

    - Knowledgeable in Labor Code

    - High computer literacy in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    - Must be adept at problem-solving, including being able to identify issues and resolve programs in a timely manner

    - Must possess strong interpersonal skills

    - Must be able to communicate clearly, both written and orally

    - Must be able to effectively read and interpret information, present numerical data in a resourceful manner, and skillfully gather and analyze information

    - Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficiently

    - Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality

    - Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity in changing business requirements

    - Ability to maintain confidentiality

    - Experience in healthcare or medical institution is an advantage

    - Willing to work in Manila City
