Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance

• With at least four (4) years of working experience in the related field

• Certified Public Accountant is an advantage

• Experience in PEZA companies is advantage

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• With strong drive to achieve goals, sound planning, logical execution, leadership and people skills

• Can work under pressure

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the on-time preparation, filing, submission, and monitoring acknowledgement of obligations compliance to BIR, SSS, Philhealth, Pag-ibig, and other government units.

• Responsible for the checking of the correctness and completeness of vouchers, statement of accounts, other accounting documents compliance to BIR regulations and internal policies prior to the approval of the President

• Responsible for the monitoring and checking the complete and proper filing of BIR accountable forms prepared and filed by the Operations Department.

• Responsible for the maintaining and safekeeping of complete files of prepared, filed/submitted, and paid obligations compliance.

• Responsible for scheduling, conducting and confirming the Physical Count of inventories to Sales records and preparation of reports for findings/discrepancies during the count.

• Responsible for monitoring and recording the company's fixed assets and the corresponding lapsing and depreciation for entry of the General Accountant.

• Responsible for liaison with government agencies for concerns in the submission and filing of compliance obligations.

• Responsible for the regular checking of current and proposed legislations; enforcing accounting regulations and implementation to avoid legal challenges and violations.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports.

• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

• Check and review the revisions and updates of accounting policy and procedures related to respective duties and responsibilities in accordance to the company’s target and goals.

• Prepare various financial reports as required by the management.

• Responsible for checking and coordinating with HR for payment processing of SSS, Pag-ibig, & Philhealth contribution and loan.

• Request payment and coordinate voucher preparation to Accounting Associate – Payable of statutory taxes due (Input VAT/EWT, etc).

• Responsible for the evaluation of other Accounting Associates.

• Perform and prepare other accounting tasks or reports that maybe assigned by the President & CEO and the HR & Admin Manager from time to time.
