  • Duties and Responsibilities

    • Managing the accounting functions for overseas clients in Norway

    • Data entry of payables, receivables and general journal vouchers

    • Period-end reconciliation of relevant accounts and quality control check

    • Preparing financial statements and other accounting-related documents for the clients

    • Continuous update of customer profile and information

    • Ensure proper documentation and filing of relevant documents and reports

    • Continuous learning of Norwegian tax and accounting systems, as well as other international accounting standards

    • Basic Norwegian language learning with continuous improvement

    • Liaising with Norwegian accounting staff and Back Office team leader regarding work assignments

    • Any other tasks related to the Accounting profession

    Job Requirement and Qualifications

    • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Management Accounting or similar courses

    • CPA License an advantage but not required

    • Experienced professional with at least two (2) years background in bookkeeping, taxation and/or external audit (Applicants with experience in Financial Statement and Payroll preparation and reporting will have an advantage.)

    • Working competency in any accounting software (e.g. SAP, QB, Xero, etc. )

    • Prior supervisory experience will be a plus

    • Fluent English language skills – verbal & written

    • High degree of computer literacy, including extensive knowledge in MS Office and Gsuite applications (e.g. Excel, Google Sheets, Gmail, Outlook, etc.)

    • Ability to multi-task and able to organize daily, weekly and monthly priorities

    • Flexible with the ability to learn and work independently

    • Comfortable working in a multi-cultural and multilingual environment

    • Good interpersonal skills and can work under pressure

    40 Hours per Week

    *07:00 - 16:00 Schedule (1 hour break)
