Ensure Guests are aware of all services and activities available at the pool.

Ensure that proper pool testing has taken place prior to Guests using the facility.

Ensure all Guests are registered prior to using the pool and are aware of the rules and regulations of the facility.

Makes sure the swimming pool is clean and constantly monitors swimming pool activity.

Open the pool each day and close it down each evening, depending on schedule and hours

Treat the pool with appropriate concentration of chemicals on a regular schedule

Monitor pool-related activities closely throughout shift and identify any safety issues

Makes sure the swimming pool is clean and constantly monitors swimming pool activity.

Direct swimmers out of the pool in hazardous conditions

Monitor weather reports closely to ensure safety of guests

Regularly check the temperature of the pool to ensure they are at set standard.

Provide swimming lessons and swim team coaching when available

Maintain a clean environment in and around the pool

Provide assistance to patrons when appropriate or necessary

Qualifications:

Qualified with lifeguard and first aid certificate

Excellent swimmer with Basic Schooling

First Aid and CPR certifications

To have worked in hotels before as lifeguard skills and knowledge

2+ years’ lifeguard experience preferred

Flexible schedule required
