  • POSITION DESCRIPTION: This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Broker Assist to join a fun, fast paced rapidly expanding financial company. The role will appeal to someone who is customer focused and who is driven by their exceptional management skills. As a Broker Assist, you will undertake the responsibility for numerous processes including processing loan applications and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

    Whilst previous experience in processing loan applications and liaising with brokers will be advantageous, it’s your passion for delivering outcomes to customers and ability to build rapport that will be critical, along with your time management skills and ability to work within tight deadlines.There are opportunities for career progression and training with the backdrop of a rapidly growing business and a significant pipeline of work to be done. Key Roles and Responsibilities:

    Oversees and manages lending files from receipt of application to conditional approval

    Ensures accurate and efficient data entry of loan application and associated information into the relevant databases

    Pre-screens credit applications including verification of borrower’s employment, income, and credit history (analyzing mortgage and other statement).

    Follows up with introducers/brokers for outstanding items

    Conducts Employment Verification via phone to NZ based employers

    Respond to broker and client queries via phone and email

    Establish, maintain, and build solid relationship with stakeholders, clients, and bank partners

    Arrange and follow up needed documents from clients and business partners

    Proactively update all communication channels ensuring consistent and accurate information endorsement to all parties

    Build positive relation with all stakeholders including valuers, mortgage insurers and other third parties to maintain excellent service levels always

    Ensure turnaround times are met and constantly follow up relevant departments.

    Familiarize with all the company's product suites and be able to handle scenarios posted by Business Partners.

    KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

    Management of and request files within target times and files per day as per service level agreement

    Customer satisfaction maintained to a high standard as evidenced by the monthly feedback from external & internal stakeholders

    Commitment to compliance and policy as evidenced by audits

    Achievement of minimum productivity requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    At least two (2) years’ experience in a BPO industry

    Experience in handling AU or NZ Mortgage loans is preferred

    Strong communication and presentation skills

    Tactfulness and proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations

    Must have good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.

    Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and problem solving

    Performs to a high standard under pressure and results driven

    Effective verbal and written communication skills

    Must have good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
