Duties and responsibilities:
• Receives instruction to import from Sourcing (Direct and Indirect Sourcing), Project and Product Innovation Team, and other FPI’s Business Units (BUs) (incase permit).
• Coordinate, monitor, and follow up on new and ongoing shipments status based on the information received from the planner(s), in-house brokers, carrier’s portal, and airport and port portal relating to departure at the port of origin, arrival at the port of discharge, berthing, vessel container discharge and delivery of shipment and cargo at FPI
• Obtain shipping documents to sourcing, planner, and other FPI’s internal team and or vendor
• Request for Quotation for contracted logistics service providers intended for long-term and short-term (spot) rates
• Request for Quotation (RFQ)
• Flight Matrix and Sailing Matrix Schedule
• Nominate and award won service providers
• Obtain approval of the procured rates based on the cost and service comparison level
• Reduce and or fully remove non-standard charges when handling import shipment
• Knowledgeable of Bureau of Customs' Rules & Regulations, practices and processes, computation of duties & taxes, and Incoterms.
• Review and approve computed duties and taxes and landed cost & factor incurred to FPI’s import shipment and or cargo
• Report daily deliverables to warehouse leads and personnel via available communication modes such as email, messenger, etc.
• Receive and process submitted billing invoices from the logistics service provider
• Address all logistics challenges to Enterprise Service Head and or other internal concerned parties
• Create and or review the Service Level Agreement and Contract for new and or existing service providers
• Research market and freight trends & solutions and implement process improvement and best practices in import operations to effectively support the supply growing demands while considering the green logistics aiming to reduce the carbon emission footprints
• To ensure that a Logistics Service Provider is following the FPI’s terms and conditions in accordance with the FPI’s Service Level Agreement (SLA)
• FPI’s logistics team should conduct monthly-regular Key Performance Indicator (KPI) performance evaluation reports of the contracted service providers.
• Attend operations and supplier meetings
• Create import operations reports in weekly, monthly and annual
• Collaborative reports for the annual strategic, business, and budget planning under Enterprise Services.
• Support all new business and importation plans for FPI

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business or related area
• Minimum of 3 years shipment and cargo experience in a manufacturing or trading environment.
• Exposure in Import process
• Expert organizational skills
• Knowledge about different geographical locations and routes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.

Requirements

• Minimum education level: Bachelor´s Degree
• 5 years of experience
