    1. Submits Weekly Machine Shop Progress Report to CEO/VP-Operation.

    2. Ensures that molds scheduled for production are always ready and that the Product Audits for those molds are done and completed before the respective runs.

    3. Does and submits mold costing within the required time frame.

    Makes sure all mold fabrications for customers are finished within the required time frame.


    1. Coordinates with the Mold Designer / Draftsman regarding the drawing priorities and checks the drawing's design and dimensional accuracy.

    2. Schedules jobs to be done and accomplished by each Machine Shop personnel in relation to the priorities of molds which would be utilized by the Production/Engineering Departments.

    3. Post on the Engineering bulletin board the Daily Running Balance for easy reference of everyone in the plant.

    4. Schedules all MCOs and assigns who among the MCO mechanics will do the stabilization..

    5. During stabilization, checks and ensures that the molds are in good condition and that they are yielding products that are within their respective specifications.

    6. Coordinates with Engineering/ Production Manager regarding mold repair mold repair / fabrication priorities and the other miscellaneous jobs required by the plant.

    7. Coordinates with the Quality Assurance manager regarding any changes or revisions on the product specifications, the updating of Deviations and Change Controls, and other Quality Assurance issues.

    8. Coordinates with PPIC Supervisor regarding the schedules of MCOs and any changes thereof.

    9. Coordinates and assist the CEO regarding special customer inquiries, required drawings, required costing, product developments ( with R&D Department), and other items that need immediate attention.

    10. Offers assistance to the Account Executives in their meetings with clients when discussion regarding molds and other technical concerns are involved.

    11. Coordinates with the Purchasing Officer and VP- Engineering regarding requirements for purchases or services involving the Machines Shop needs and Product Development/R&D issues.

    12. From time to time, coordinates with security guards in the LIIP plant on their grass cutter needs ( repairs, gasoline, 2T oil )

    13. Schedules the Year-End Preventive Maintenance of all machines in the Machine Shop Department and makes sure the required materials ( oils, parts, consumables ) are prepared before the day/s of maintenance, in coordination with the MS Supervisor.

    14. Accomplishes the Performance Appraisal Reports of all Machine Shop personnel on a twice yearly ( for regular employees ) and monthly ( for probationary employees ) basis.

    15. Develops the designs of products for some clients who ask and require our assistance.

    16. Ensures that molds have enough spares of wear parts ( slider inserts, guide post /bushings, blow pins, ejector pins, die spring, reamer, etc. ) and sees to it that they are regularly replenished.

    17. Accomplishes the Receiving Reports of all the Machine Shop purchases and makes sure they are done before the lapse of the terms of the suppliers.

    18. Checks all Machine shop Purchase Requisition before signing and endorsing to the Purchasing Department.

    19. Schedules the individual works / processes for mold fabrications.

    20. Post all incoming Product Audits, prepares the individual shop copy for machine shop crew use, and records all accomplished Product Audits, then makes a consolidated record.

    21. Prepares the weekly Machine Shop Progress Report and monthly KPI report.

    22. Prepares all mold costing and makes a consolidated record.

    Length of Work Experience :

    Equivalent work experience of at least five (5) years as a Machine Shop Manager plus a separate with a modest hands-on working knowledge of the different plastic moulding related engineering works including factory or building maintenance.

    Field of expertise required :

    Mould making and repairs ( includes trouble shooting background )

    Good Math Background /Communication skills ( Spoken/Written )

    Mechanical/ Technical Analysis Skills.
