A. Job Summary
Brand management focuses on the marketing activities of a certain brand to increase its popularity among target consumers, while also gaining market share. The function of brand management is to take a company's products and focus on building a favorable, positive image in the eyes of the public, using creative marketing techniques. As markets become increasingly competitive, Brand Associates serve as a vital force in helping differentiate a company from those of the competition. A Marketing Officer helps a brand manager with duties in business and promotion. These duties include gathering data, analyzing market opportunities, setting objectives and developing plans and presentations. As part of the Brand Management team, a Marketing Officer is tasked to grow specific brand/s by setting up the right strategies for product, pricing, place and promotion based on consumer insights and trade understanding.


B. Duties and Responsibilities
-Assists in development and execution of the business plan approved by management
-Assist and develops the communication plans for the brand/s assigned
-Cascades planograms, point-of-purchase materials, and visual merchandising guidelines for their brands
-End to end implementation of the brands – from coordinating closely with Merchandising Team’s order to launching the brand in-store and online
-Assistance on the sales tracking, analysis on what sells and understanding the trends of the product through data and setting up action plans to address profitability of the brand
-Ensure smooth coordination with the principal and able to negotiate for better margins / free marketing collaterals / additional support, etc
-Constantly monitors competition and updates management on these activities and price changes
-Works with interdepartments to ensure success of various projects and launches
-Performs other tasks that may be assigned by the immediate leader

C. Qualification
-Graduate of a college degree, preferably Marketing-related course
-At least 1 year related working experience in Brand Marketing
-Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
-Ability to analyze numbers and solve problems
-Ability to manage different projects at the same time
-Ability to work well under pressure
-Strong organizational skills, analytical skills and attention to detail
-Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
-Basic to advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint skills
