  • Role Purpose

    Effectively manage the team of Key Accounts Executives, account sub-categories and
    its total supply chain in order to drive profit in line with he agreed financial parameters
    and strategies

    To plan and encourage individuals, SME’s and corporations to become an e-Commerce
    platform seller of Akulaku

    Contribute in sustaining and growing merchant relationships with Key Accounts
    Executives

    Achieving growth and consistently hitting targets by successfully managing the team of
    Key Accounts Executives

    Ensuring professional relationships are established and maintained with clients,
    partners and potential merchants

    Regularly and proactively reports the progress of the Merchandizing team’s statistics
    both to direct reports and management

    Planning, evaluating, implementing and continuously improving all aspects of
    Merchandizing department’s functions and processes

    Handles the recruitment for the Merchandizing department, objectives setting,
    coaching and performance monitoring for all Key Accounts Executives

    Key Accountabilities

    1) KEY ACCOUNTS MANAGEMENT

    Strengthen the Merchant Relationship with existing sellers and continuously engage
    with prospective sellers

    Effectively manage the sellers and its total supply chain, simultaneously doing close
    coordination work with the Customer Service team and Logistics team

    Deliver promotional and marketing plans to merchants in order to drive higher sales
    Closely coordinate with the merchants to foster faster lead time for accepting of
    orders

    Closely monitor sellers’ sales activities
    Periodically visit merchants for any update, feedback and/ or business-related
    concerns

    Resolve issues that may arise during, and/or after orders are placed with the
    Merchants

    Able to implement creatives ways in improving seller SKU’s
    2) ACCOUNT ACQUISITION

    Identifies new sellers to become an e-Commerce platform seller of Akulaku
    Develops and creates agreement plans in partnership with the seller that is able to
    achieve sales and profit targets, its proper implementation (i.e. promotions, discounts
    and updated price lists on-demand and/or from time to time based on the market
    price of a certain item)

    Able to track competitors in order to drive overall brand competitiveness (i.e. checks
    the seller’s price in comparison with other platforms)

    Attains and exceeds sales and KPI targets
    Evaluates the market to develop suitable strategy execution on how to improve
    Merchant sales in Akulaku

    Delivers promotional and marketing plans for merchants to increase sales
    3) TEAM LEAD

    Responsible for taking the lead role in ensuring that Key Account Executives are able
    to perform based on set KPIs and are dedicated in meeting operational needs of
    Merchandizing

    Closely monitors the production and activities of Key Account Executives to ensure
    consistency of performance, and are driven to meet or exceed targets

    Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products
    and various competition status

    Takes ownership in building the team via recruitment, able to set clear objectives,
    mentors & coaches each team member and monitors individual performance as well
    as overall performance of the Key Account Executives

    Reports directly to the Senior Operations Manager for the team’s weekly and monthly
    performances, as well as the overall metrics of the Key Account Executives
