Offer description

1. Assists the Operations Manager in reviewing job orders to determine work priorities. Schedule repairs, maintenance and installation of machines, tools, facilities and equipment to ensure continuous production operations.



2. Assists planning and directing the activities of workers installing, modifying, repairing, maintaining machines, tools and equipment to manufacture PP strapping band product lines.



3. Assists in directing maintenance activities of utility systems to provide continuous supply of powers and energies needed by the production department.



1. Assists in planning and developing sound preventive maintenance programs in coordination with other affected departments.

2. Reviews report of production, quality control, and maintenance statistics to plan and/or modify maintenance activities.

3. Reviews production processes and inspects operating machines and equipment for conformance to operational standards; trains technicians and operators in the proper usage and handling of each machine and equipment.

4. Assist in reviewing new product plans and discusses equipment needs and modification with design engineers.

5. Requisitions of tools, equipment and supplies required for operations; canvasses and purchases local tools, machines, equipment and parts.

6. Confers with management, engineering and quality control personnel to resolve maintenance problems and recommends measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment.

7. May develops, implements and coordinates product assurance programs to prevent/eliminate defects in products [in process/finished goods].

8. Plans and directs quality control programs designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards.

9. May develops and analyzes statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and established quality and reliability expectancy of finished products.

10. Formulates and maintains quality control check points and coordinates objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other production lines to maximize product reliability and minimize costs of wastage and reprocess.

11. Investigates and adjusts customer complaints regarding quality assurance and reliability.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

- Requires minimum graduation in five (5) years of college education in related fields or equivalent combination of education and experience; Preferably a licensed Mechanical/Electrical Engineer or other related engineering courses. Non-engineering graduate may handle this job provided he has an equivalent of at least 5 years work experience in related jobs.

Requires 4-6 years of work experience in related functions in manufacturing industry with similar depth of complexity of functions in engineering and quality assurance.
