Responsibilities

Develop and implement health and safety programs
Develop disease prevention programs, such as smoking cessation, exercise, and healthy eating programs
Document and report on a regular basis all employee injuries and illnesses within the workplace
Observe and assess the work environment for potential dangers and hazards
Treat injuries and illnesses for employees, including follow-ups and referrals
Oversee and implement emergency and disaster preparedness programs and planning
Counsel employees on physical and mental health issues and guiding them toward community resources and/or employee assistance programs
Monitor the health status of employees
Coordinate with company’s healthcare provider to setup annual exams for all employees
Evaluate employees’ health and make lifestyle recommendations to improve their health
Recommend new healthcare initiatives that the company can implement.

Qualifications

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
Must be a Registered Nurse
With or without relevant experience as a company nurse
First Aid/Basic Life Support Training
Completed 40 hours of Basic Occupational Safety and Health Training conduced by an accredited safety training organization
Good verbal, written and presentation skills
Amenable to work in shifting schedules
Must be able to start ASAP
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
