  • Description

  • Duties and Responsibilities:

    - Gather information on hours worked for each employee

    - Handle the end-to-end payroll process

    - Process the payroll and annualization

    - Process the final pay of separated/resigned employees and post-employment documents

    - Review timesheets and attendance records and correct inaccuracies

    - Able to compute the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses etc. using automated system and manual

    - Receive approval from upper management for payments when needed

    - Will handle some of the HR works

    - Prepare and execute pay orders through an electronic system or distribute paychecks

    - Administer statements of payment to personnel either electronically or on paper

    - Process taxes and payment of employee benefits

    - Keep track of hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information etc.

    - Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors

    - Analyze compensation-related data including wages and bonuses

    - Oversee payroll transactions (e.g. via e-banking)

    - Answer employees' questions about salaries and tax

    - Stay up-to-date on payroll and tax laws

    - Prepare reports for upper management, finance department etc.

    Qualifications:

    - Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Development Management, Psychology, Business Administration, Accounting or relevant field

    - Proven experience in payroll for at least 2 years

    - Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices

    - With solid experience in payroll and compensation and benefits

    - Knowledgeable in manual and automated system timekeeping and payroll process

    - Deep knowledge of payroll and tax regulations and legislation

    - Proficient in MS Office and good knowledge of relevant software and databases

    - Trustworthy with attention to confidentiality

    - Outstanding organizational ability with great attention to detail

    - Excellent communication skills

    - Willing to work in San Juan

    - Willing to start ASAP
