  • 1. Identification of environmental aspects & impacts and occupational safety hazards & risks of the overall operations of SIP.

    2. Preparation of objectives and targets related to identified aspects/impacts as well as hazards/risks.

    3. Conduct EHS related education, trainings/seminars, drills for all employees and personnel in a regular basis.

    4. Supervise the proper operation and maintenance of pollution control facilities, machines and equipment of the company

    5. Facilities compliance of the plant with existing environmental rules, regulations and/or laws.

    6. Liaison with the Municipal and or Provincial Control Officers, DENR, LLDA, PEZA, DOLE and other government agencies related with environment, occupational health & safety.

    7. Give recommendations to the Management for any development and/or alterations of facilities in accordance with DENR, LLDA, PEZA and DOLE rules, regulations and/or laws.

    8. Update the Management on any new law, regulations or ordinances pertaining to environment, occupational health & safety.

    9. Serve as Secretary of the EHS Committee (prepare minutes of meetings, report status of recommendations made, submit report to the management of the activities of the committee)

    10. Assumes responsibility to ensure that the company provides a safe working environment. Participates in the Company’s recycling/re-use efforts. Helps prevent pollution.

    11. Provide training analysis plan during fiscal year to keep abreast and execute EMS training whether internal or external to submit with the HRAD Manager for execution of EMS plan.

    12. Conduct EMS training and seminar to be able to expand and enhance employee’s knowledge on the awareness of environmental management safety for compliance.

    13. Perform other task related to the function of duties that maybe assigned from time to time.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Graduate of any 4 year course

    At least 2 years related experience

    Knowledgeable in local legislation (DENR, DOLE, Audits), IATF 16949:2016, ISO 14001:2015, OHSAS 18001:2007

    PCO Accreditation from DENR

    Safety Practitioner Certification from DOLE

    Knowledge on Local & National Environment, Occupational Health & Safety (EHS) Laws, Policies, Memorandums, Regulations and all other legal requirements

    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

    Salary: Php25,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
