    1. Volume and Revenue
    a. Financial Data – Ensure reports are evaluated, financial data of plant processes are accurate and maintained, business trends are analyzed and explained; performance of various plant activities are evaluated, and financial statements prepared and analyzed.
    b. Product Costing - Analyze all operations and develop realistic standard cost of all plant products. Review actual costs vs. standard on regular basis and issue management report on cost variances. Develop customer profitability analysis including pricing based on product costs.
    2. Profitability & Liquidity
    a. Financial Metrics and Performance - Develop profit and loss metrics to facilitate key performance indicators, ensure accuracy, timely submission, appropriate review and analysis done, and relevant information endorsed for decision making. Maintain profitable accountability of all projects.
    b. Data Analysis – Evaluate all plant transaction according to accounting procedures regularly. Consolidate major and critical findings and make recommendations for corrective action or decision making of management.
    c. Budget - Manage and obtain approval for requests on capital expenditures, maintain controls on all plant processes within required budget and prepare reports to summarize business activities; Coordinate with department heads for the budget preparation and requirements during Budget Planning. Analyze spending vs budget for critical items.
    d. Licenses, Permits and Registration – Oversee application, renewal, maintenance, documentation, and records keeping of licenses, permits and registration required for business operations.
    3. Effectiveness and Efficiency
    a. ERP Implementation – Lead in the implementation of ERP or similar accounting system including its optimum utilization, facilitation of training to users, and recommendation of upgrades of the system.

    b. Government Reports – See to it that all reports to various government agencies and units are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
    c. Supplier Accreditation and Payments – Ensure all suppliers of materials, manpower, and services, including contractors pass the standards and accreditation process. Service Agreements or Contracts are in place, and all payments are in accordance with the documentation standards, payment terms, and budget.
    d. Accounting and Audit - Determine and maintain accounting principles and processes, and ensure compliance to GAAP regulations, resolve technical issues and provide technical assistance to teams, and document requirements for external auditors. Take the lead in financial audit processes and coordinate with key people involved in the audit, for both internal and external audits.
    e. Inventory – Ensure all physical inventories are reconciled, transactions and records are accurate, and financial audit is performed annually.
    f. Teamwork - Build collaborative relationships with other departments particularly with Strategic Planning & Development for directions of business and funding requirements, with Sales for collection, and all departments for budget preparation and spending, and payments for their respective suppliers.
    4. Culture Formation and People Development
    a. Policy Compliance - Ensure all company policies, operational procedures, financial procedures, ERP processes, safety guidelines, quality and food safety standards and other regulatory compliance requirements are observed and applied by all employees within the department
    b. People Program Involvement - See to it that employees under the department take a lead or participate in people programs rolled-out by the company.
    c. Development Program Initiative - Initiate development programs at department level to ensure employees are competently equipped in performing the job.
    5. Business Growth
    a. Innovation - Recommend improvement or innovation to achieve savings, better productivity, prevention of cost, new design, system or technology relevant to business expansion and new business initiatives
    b. Support - Provide support to financial information technology team on the implementation of new systems; and to ad hoc projects by providing analysis for financial presentation, and recommend improvement to any business practices and processes.
    6. Does other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.


    1. Degree in Accountancy, Business Accounting or Finance; graduate degree in Business Management/Administration is an advantage; Licensed as Certified Public Accountant is preferred
    2. Relevant technical knowledge in finance and treasury, taxation, general accounting, production costing, and enterprise resource planning system in medium to large manufacturing setting
    3. Work experience of at least ten (10) years in a similar role, and management experience of at least three (3) years; preferably in manufacturing setting
    4. Undergone training related to ERP, taxation, and accounting systems.
    5. Facility to coach and lead people towards performance
    6. Demonstrated abilities in commercial awareness, problem-solving, and decision-making, negotiating, developing others, managing performance, risk management, keen to details, driving results, and records & documentation.
    7. Administrative abilities in budgeting, analyzing reports and key accounting metrics, MS Office operation, ERP and related systems and data warehouses, and required standards on food safety, employee health & safety, and quality regulations.
