Offer description

1. Assists/Supports in conducting scheduled preventive maintenance of plant machineries,facilities and equipment.

2. Monitors working condition of all machineries/equipment by checking/recording daily/monthly checksheets.

3. Assists in the installation/commissioning and trial runs of new machineries and equipment including preventive maintenance/repairs conducted by outside contractors.

4. Assists/supports in troubleshooting, analysis and repair of machine/equipment breakdowns.

5. Conducts proper operation, cleaning and caring of equipment and machinery.

6. Identifies necessary engineering related materials/tools/spare parts for procurement.

7. Makes necessary reports on the condition/repair done on the machine and equipment.

8. Participates in the continuous improvement of processes, equipment, facilities and maintenance system.

9. Ensures all fire fighting and safety equipment such as emergency lights, water hoses, smoke detectors and portable extinguishers are in good working condition.

10.Regularly implements 5S and safety procedures within premises.

11.Supervises the activities of Plant Maintenance Technician.

12. Contributes in establishment of procedures, work instructions and necessary documentation.

13. Participates in conducting Risk Assessment and Machine Failure Mode and Effect Analysis.

14. Helps and contributes in the formulation of Corrective Action Reports.

15. Assists Engineering Manager in Pollution Control activities and other related tasks.

16. Performs other duties as may be assigned or deemed necessary by Immediate Superiors.
