MVP Asia Pacific Inc. is looking for a Power BI Developer for one of our clients Australia who is a
dynamic and specialist organization. The client provides premium emergency response and asset
protection solutions supporting health and safety in the oil and gas, energy, mining, maritime,
aviation, and critical infrastructure industries.
Position: Power BI Developer
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work with varying facets of the business to understand business needs, gather data
requirements and develop enterprise information models and views.
• Develop business intelligence solutions, including reports, dashboards, and visualizations, to
deliver analytical and data products
• Provide planning, consulting, and advice on Power BI projects
• Performing certain data analysis as necessary
• Documentation of all developed solutions
• Data modelling within Power BI
• Develop and maintain Power BI integrations with varying systems and technologies
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related course.
• Microsoft Power BI Certifications and/or equivalent experience
• Extensive Microsoft Power Platform experience
• Extensive Microsoft 365 Experience
• Must have excellent English, written and verbal communication skills
• Extensive experienced in Microsoft Power BI integrations with varying technologies
• Extensive experience in Excel and SharePoint Lists
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and 365 Admin Centre
• IT Support Experience
• Effective translation of insights to stakeholders
• Ability to write detailed documentation
• Adaptable to dynamic and unique environments
• Resourceful with learning, developing skills and knowledge of new tech
• Proven experience in the delivery of complex ICT projects or programs
• NetSuite experience an advantage but not a requirement

- Minimum education level: Bachelor´s Degree
- 5 years of experience

The company is relatively new so there's a lot of things to improve on and this is great. They keep improving the management and systems in place. The company could improve on providing the right device/machine to be used by its employees. A developer like me would need a fast PC to deliver the tasks right and on time. A computer lagging in performance would hamper that. I was told that this is being reviewed by the management.
