Power BI Developer

Job Description:

• Business support through continuous optimization and design, development, and deployment of Data
Warehouse, ETL and Tabular Models.
• Design, build and deploy Power BI solutions.
• Develop and update technical documentation.
• Translate business demands into technical specifications with subsequent design, development and
maintenance of data warehouse and BI solutions.
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting.
• Evaluate and improve existing BI reports.
• Ability to extract data from external sources (SQL server, non-MS SQL databases (OpenText SQLBase), Excel,
3rd party software, API)
• Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses.
• Perform ongoing research to determine Power BI current and future capabilities and how customers can
utilize those improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or any related course
• At least 3 years of experience in Data warehouse design and development
• Experience with full-lifecycle implementation of BI and data projects: Starting from zero to full production
• Certification in Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Power BI, SSIS, and SSAS
• In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL
(Extract, transform, load) framework.
• Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Knowledge of MS Azure (Logic Apps and Blob)
• Worked with Microsoft Power platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Virtual Agents)
• Excellent understanding of dimensional modelling as well as traditional database modelling.

• 3 years of experience
