Procurement Officer

Offer description

We are looking for someone who has Supervisory to Managerial skillset. Below are the tasks to be handled:
1. Handles all aspect of purchasing production supplies/materials and services as well as other
purchasing needs of the company.
2. Handles vendor accreditation - source, interviews and negotiates for the lowest cost and best
payment terms without sacrificing quality.
3. Asks for quotations from preferred and new suppliers for items requested.
4. Prepares and submits canvass sheet with at least three (3) vendor-options.
5. For fast-moving-regular items, monitors Inventory as submitted by Logistics Executive and
prepares list all items necessary to purchase as per pre-established re-order quantity/bench
marks.
6. Prepares and submits Purchase Order (PO) for approval.
7. Sends the approved PO to supplier and coordinate as to delivery and ensure that items are as
per product specifications as quoted and approved by the management.
8. Prepares and submits Request for Payment form to Accounting department with proper
supporting documents.
9. Develop policies and procedures as part of procurement team to support operational
efficiencies and maintain state-of-the-art activities
10. Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
11. Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
12. Reconcile nonconforming products with Suppliers
13. Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product
ranges, etc.
14. Work with Suppliers to expedite late or urgent orders
15. Ensure that appropriate due diligence is undertaken on proposed new partners and during
renegotiations with current partners, to ensure that the brand and reputation of the company
will at all times be positively reinforced
16. Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.

Requirements

• Minimum education level: Bachelor´s Degree
• 5 years of experience
• Language(s): English ,Tagalog
• Availability of change of residence: Yes
