  • -Graduate of a bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering
    -has 5 to 10 years related experience including planning, scheduling, inventory control and cycle counting preferred. Demonstrated leadership qualities with at least 4 years leadership experience.
    -Lean/six sigma working knowledge is required.
    Essential function:
    -Serves as role model for Quanta core values by maintaining positive internal/external relationships; promoting individual growth and development; actively promoting Continuous Improvement Culture; and demonstrating a commitment to excellence in the achievement of company goals/objectives.
    -Enforce, promote and comply with workplace safety procedures for self and the team. Monitor that all equipment is being operated safely.

    -Provide leadership, coaching, training and feedback to direct reports; defines expectations, monitors and evaluates performance. Develops growth and succession plans for team members.
    -Build a high-performing team through selective recruitment, collaboration, development, problem resolution and accountability.
    -Establish continuous improvement processes and culture to increase supply reliability. Continually analyze process and procedures for opportunities to eliminate waste, streamline for efficiency and adaptation of emerging tools and techniques.

    Planning & Control:
    -Provide strategy direction and leadership of production order creation and management, level loading production tasks, production order to promise achievable delivery dates to customers, constraining demand and expediting orders when warranted.
    -Lead the translation of Sales and Marketing Plan to tactical execution of production orders that support customer on-time delivery targets while meeting business sales, cost and inventory targets.
    -Responsible for the creation of the capacity plans and production schedules in weekly and daily increments, prioritizing orders and controlling flow of materials to the shop floor.
    -Responsible for communication of production status relative to short-term targets, providing the required visibility to support Daily management and problem solving with credible data describing system's status.
    -Contribute to and support the selection and implementation of new ERP system.

    Materials Management:
    -Develop, implement, and maintain processes and policies for material control and inventory systems to ensure efficient transition to new products and components.
    -Coordinate MRP both internally and externally to ensure optimized availability for production with minimal required inventory.
    -Design, develop, implement and sustain solutions for the improvement of material flow through operations using lean principles (6S, Kanban, Visual Management, etc.) and techniques such as FIFO, Plan for Every Part (PFEP), and route design.
    -Implement and sustain a visual parts warehouse and manufacturing line/cell stocking system and optimize labor involved in managing the warehouse and delivering materials to the line while continually reducing the amount of warehouse space required per overall part volume.
    -Standardize inventory cycle counting using fit-for-purpose methodology and implement corrective actions to continually improve inventory accuracy.
    -Responsible for leading cross-functional teams in the development of strategic methods to resolve and maintain inventory accuracy.
