Offer description

A production planning supervisor typically has a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:

Preferably a minimum of 2 experiences in a related field with exposure to SAP systems

Computer literate

Generate production plan (3 months rolling) to specific area assigned, disseminate and discussed with team for machine, method and manpower preparation.

Aligns production plan based on agreed changes in customer requirements, material availability, machine capacity, lost production outputs, etc.

Monitor compliance of production plan.

Creates and submits needed reports on time.

Ensures compliance to company established Way of Working (WOW) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

Acts as a Liaison Officer of the company pertaining to production planning (Purchasing, Production, Logistics, etc).

Performs other functions as required by his/her superior after due training/qualification.

Developing production schedules based on demand forecasts to meet customer requirements

Coordinating with suppliers to ensure that adequate materials are available, and developing relationships with new suppliers as needed

Communicating with other departments within the organization regarding production schedules and deadlines

Monitoring inventory levels and adjusting production accordingly to avoid overproduction

Interpreting and implementing company policies regarding production scheduling to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations

Reviewing production schedules and labor forecasts to determine whether additional staff will be required during certain times of the year

Creating and maintaining records of materials used during production to ensure efficient use of resources and to identify waste or loss

Coordinating the purchase of raw materials for products from suppliers based on inventory levels, price fluctuations, and other factors

Coordinating with shipping companies to arrange for delivery of finished products to customers

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or any relevant courses

1-2 years experience in Plastic Molding / Injection Molding industry

2-3 years experience is same field
