MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Supervises project accounting group and oversees all project accounting

deliverables.

2. Provides guidance to headquarters and field project accountants and resolves

project accounting queries when required.

3. Participates in budget preparation for both project and Head Office

4. Assures the preparation of regular and ad-hoc financial reports

5. Assures the control of Project Accounting and related SosaJB processes

6. Ensures a high level of communication of financial information to all stakeholders

7. Assists in the preparation of information required for both internal and external audit

8. Maintains up-to-date working knowledge of various government regulations

applicable to project grants and contracts.

9. Help promote all services of SOSA JB Property Management Corp.

10. Adherence to SPMC ISO quality manual

11. Carry out any other duties as assigned within the department and immediate

Division

B. JOB QUALIFICATION/s:

Candidate must possess at least Professional License (Passed

Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Accountancy

Must have at least two (2) years of related work experience in a managerial

capacity, or 3 years supervisory capacity, preferable in the Property Management industry

Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices,

standards, laws, and regulations

• Has a good background in general accounting concepts, principles, and its applications’

• Advanced in using computer software such as MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Web Browser, databases; etc.

• Has a background in accounting software like Philsoft, Quickbooks, etc.

• Tax Code of the Philippines

• Must have knowledge in Planning, Budgeting, Organizing, Controlling, and Logistics
