  • Description


    The PM for Digital Platforms is responsible for delivering defined project outputs on time within the budget and with quality results, which involves planning, organizing, and overseeing one or more projects to meet defined requirements or business specifications.


    - Manages e-commerce functions including, but not limited to, optimizing conversion, supporting acquisition and lead generation efforts, updating site content, managing pages and products, maintaining inventory levels, and overseeing user flow/customer experience

    - Oversees the digital customer experience including, but not limited to, supporting order lookup and customer service inquiries, coordinating transactional and relationship emails, providing FAQs, overseeing digital properties and managing all post transactional activities

    - Maximizes revenue on site and maximizing upsell/cross-sell/AOV

    - Identifies, develops, and executes projects that support the company’s business goals and initiatives

    - Works with e-commerce business owners/product owners to identify the success criteria of projects, benchmark KPIs, and measure success against identified KPIs

    - Leads development of project plans, process flow diagrams, use cases, current/future state diagrams, and functional and technical requirements

    - Leads cross-functional teams on an ongoing basis including stakeholders and team to ensure project success

    - Independently secures the successful implementation of projects including and managing timelines, scopes, budgets, communications, quality, issues, risks, critical paths, and resource constraints

    - Checks and safe keeps project plans up to date at all times

    - Measures and checks project processes and activities to identify and communicate potential issues, risks or problems in a timely fashion and provide corrective action options and drive to resolution

    - Prepares launch go/no go checklists and create contingency plans

    - When necessary, escalates schedule delays due to issues and risks to e-commerce business owners/product owners and IT CIO

    - When needed, negotiates project priorities and workload with internal stakeholders and team members

    - Reviews performance evaluations for vendors on projects

    - Provides direction and coaching to Business Analysts on project team

    - Leads in a learning and collaborative environment

    - Works with the Marketing Group to ensure marketing and website efforts are aligned and to optimize lead generation

    - Checks and provides post project review and lessons learned

    - Checks and maintains up to date on current e-commerce trends and opportunities.

    - Studies the requirements of the organization in order to design the project plans accordingly

    - Submits project plan and seeks management approval

    - Works with project owners to verify that all scopes (features/functionality) are explicitly

    defined and documented

    - Organizes the work into manageable activity clusters (phases) and determines an effective approach in completing the work

    - Manages relationships with project stakeholders, including internal and external

    clients and vendors, keeping them informed of progress and issues in order to manage expectations on all project requirements and deliverables

    - Establishes and publishes clear priorities among project activities

    - Manages change to preserve business plan commitments and initiate review if objectives must change

    - Proactively identifies changes in work scope and verifies appropriate planning measures are taken with internal and external clients to reassess and amend the scope of work requirement, budget, and timeline

    - Reviews report on progress of the project, cost and schedule, and change control

    - Examines project constraints, deliverables, critical points and dependencies

    - Analyzes the actual performance against the plan and make an adjustment consistent with plan objectives

    - Oversees project documentation and updates to relevant knowledge bases; analyze lessons learned and shares with other project owners and senior management

    - Analyzes original estimate against actual hours and duration and understand the factors that contributed to any variance

    - Facilitates project meetings with project owners, external consultants and senior

    management to assure that priorities are communicated and understood, and that progress/delays/issues are reported

    - Provides input/justification for project costs and budget impact

    - Arbitrates and resolves conflict and interface problems within the project

    - Closely observes the project members and assigns individual project tasks to them as per their skill, capabilities, and areas of expertise

    - Coaches to clarify assignments and deliverables; mentor others in project management practices; review quality of work and manages integration of team members’ work

    - Reports issues to appropriate levels of management

    - Determines what constitutes successful closure for all parties; gain acceptance and sign-off by all parties when closure is attained

    - Organizes workflow and ensures that the team understands their duties or delegated tasks.

    - Monitors employee productivity and provides constructive feedback and coaching.


    - College Graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or any related sciences

    - With five to seven (5 - 7) years of solid experience on eCommerce and Digital Industry

    - Strong understanding of current e-commerce trends and best practices

    - Experience developing project plans, process diagrams, use cases, functional and technical requirements

    - Strong background in Digital, e-commerce and Marketing

    - Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with technical and non-technical audiences including vendors, executives, managers, and subject matter experts

    - Strong problem solving skills – detail-oriented, creative, practical

    - Strong background in e-commerce, Digital, and Marketing
