    The Assistant Buyer is responsible for the efficient and effective processing of requests to purchase goods/services as required by the project.

    He/She also ensures appropriate and timely delivery of purchase goods/services according to established policies and procedures.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Coordinate with end user/s to align with the overall requirement of the project.

    Set pre-bid meeting, invite suppliers and end users, take minutes of the meeting

    Ensure that the scope is fully communicated and understood by the suppliers.

    Assist during on-site visits of suppliers/service providers when necessary.

    Follow up quotations from suppliers and prepare Comparison of Bids (COB).

    Negotiate with suppliers either verbal, via email or online.

    Process shopping carts, release PO to suppliers, process of NOA/NTP (Notice of Award/Proceed) when necessary.

    Follow up suppliers on the delivery of goods/services.

    Coordinate with buyers for any support needed either with Logistics concerns or commodities handled by the Buyer/s.

    Monitor the progress of all goods and services from RFQ, to PO, up to delivery at site and until payment release.

    Processing of contracts from signing, notarization up to filling and saving a soft copy to the shared drive

    Updating of prices in SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) system.


    Male or Female

    Graduate of any 4-year course, Engineering graduate is an advantage

    Must have Good communication skills and interpersonal skills

    Must have Good project management, negotiating and organizational skills

    With Knowledge/familiar with importation of Goods

    Knowledge in SAP is an advantage

    Above average skills in Microsoft Office

    Willing to travel (Batangas/Laguna/Paranaque/Pampanga Area)

    Willing to assign at Pasig City, Metro Manila
