  • PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The Purchasing Manager oversees supply chain management and procurement. She is responsible for buying the best quality equipment, goods and services for the company at the most competitive prices. She needs to be good at negotiation, networking, as well as dealing with other factors such as sustainability, risk management and ethical issues. The Purchasing Manager oversees the work and activities of purchasing staff members of the day-to-day operations of the Purchasing Department; and carries out managerial-responsibilities in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Accomplishes purchasing human resources objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, and disciplining employees, communicating job expectations; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.

    2. Develops purchasing strategy. Conducting research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedule and quality.

    3. Forecasts levels of demand for goods and services to meet the business needs and keeping a constant check on stock levels.

    4. Negotiates contracts and purchase orders and monitors their progress.

    5. Implements the Supplier Accreditation and Annual Performance Evaluation Process.

    6. Identifies potential suppliers, visits existing suppliers, builds and maintains a good relationship with them, also ensures that they are aware of our business objectives.

    7. Trains and supervises the work of the supervisor and all purchasing staff.

    8. Performs other tasks that may be assigned.

    Qualifications:

    4 years course graduate, Accountancy, Business Management

    2-4 years experience

    Knowledge on cost accounting, purchasing aspects

    Good communication skills, English language skills, computer literate, Leadership skills

    Ability to investigate, analyze and solve problems

    Ability to follow verbal and or written instructions.

    Ability to work under stress and handle stressful situations.

    Ability to meet deadlines.

    Willing to work as Project based employee

    Willing to work in Clark, Pampanga
