  • Ensures that all documents to be processed in the purchase of goods/items and services are correct and duly approved by the authorized company representatives.
    Follows – up suppliers diligently on the goods/items and services purchased for the timely delivery of the same to the company or client.
    Maintains individual and updated records of the suppliers and recommends contracts or suppliers that are beneficial to the interest of the company.
    Ensures that the purchasing policy of at least three (3) proposals from different suppliers is met before any purchasing activity is initiated.
    Canvasses suppliers for the goods/items and services to be purchased using the company established form.
    Evaluates periodically the performance of the suppliers accredited by the company based on the company standard form.
    Coordinates with the Logistics, Design and Quality and Warehouse Departments regarding the incoming of goods/items purchased.
    Verifies purchase requisitions by comparing items requested to master list; clarifying unclear items; recommending alternatives.
    Forwards available inventory items by verifying stock; scheduling delivery.
    Prepares purchase orders by verifying specifications and price; obtaining recommendations from suppliers for substitute items; obtaining approval from requisitioning department.
    Obtains purchased items by forwarding orders to suppliers; monitoring and expediting orders.
    Verifies receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered; resolves shipments in error with suppliers.
    Facilitate the shipment of importation and exportation.
    Ensures timely release and payment of shipments from Customs
