    1.0 Basic Purpose

    1.1 To ensure products conform to specifications

    1.2 To ensure quality related issues are analyzed and corrections and corrective actions are implemented

    2.0 Duties and Responsibilities

    Regular Duties

    2.1 Daily huddle/briefing of production crew together with the Filling operators every start of the shift for 10 minutes, attendance and minutes written in a piece of bond paper should be submitted to supervisors after every shift.

    This should include the ff:

    • Reminding of crew’s duties and responsibilities

    • Familiarizing each and every one in defects and its classification.

    • Previous quality issues and complaints

    • Good Manufacturing Practices

    • Do’s and don’ts of the company

    • And other applicable agendas

    2.2 During Start Up, should assist operator in monitoring of weight until it becomes

    stable.

    2.3 Prepares Visual Control before start of every batch.

    2.4 Assist maintenance/operator during set up of code on linx and microjet to

    ensure code date is correct before starting. Linx/microjet monitoring should be

    properly filled up and sign together with the ones who set up the code. Use only

    sample filled barrels during set up of code date and never uses empty barrels in

    any given circumstances.

    2.5 Monitor filling weights of the products and logs in weight monitoring sheet.

    2.6 Conducts spot checking of products at the end line and logs in spot checking

    form.

    2.7 Prepares incident report every time there is quality incidence to ensure problems are resolved and submits to department section head.

    2.8 Hold products with defects and should know how to do it as per written in procedures.

    2.9 Assist operator during ramp down in wt. monitoring.

    2.10 Submits keeping samples to Laboratory and logged in logbook.

    2.11 Ensure proper segregation of on-line rejects from suppliers’ rejects.

    2.12 Properly tags acceptable, on hold and rejects items.

    2.13 Prepares and conducts Line Clearance using the line clearance checklist every change-over, change of variants, size and respective country.

    2.14 Prepares POF and returns excess packaging materials to warehouse every change-over.

    2.15 Coordinates with other sections, particularly production, regarding problems encountered during audits.

    2.16 Assists sorting of on hold items and fills up rework form.

    2.17 Ensure proper turn-over of work to the next shift.

    2.18 Assist QA section head whenever needed.

    2.19 Maintains Good Housekeeping in the area.
