  • The QA Manager is responsible in assuring consistent quality of production by developing and creating effective and achievable quality standards, guidelines and systems meeting customer requirements.


    Develop and implement the QA system in accordance with buyer’s quality standards.

    Personally audit and hold direct team accountable for following the standard procedures set in the Ocean Sky system.

    Collaborate with HR Department to provide training on customers’ quality standards to QA/QC teams and all relevant functions; Hold regular examinations to assess understanding.

    Hold direct reports accountable for organizing and overseeing customer final inspections and be personally involved if needed.

    Regularly review internal and customer quality reports and identify quality trends and improvement opportunities.

    Collaborate with other functions to identify root causes to quality issues and provide support in developing solutions.

    Define and communicate the concept of quality mindset and establish measurements for assessing quality mindset.

    Provide the necessary technical/functional training to continually upgrade the skill-level of in-line QC.

    Manage relationships with vendors and 3rd party inspectors.

    Identify opportunities to utilize new vendors and/or services within the department.

    Develop new processes to address defective merchandise while maintaining current ones.

    Review and update system processes to improve efficiently on an ongoing basis.

    Responsible in training and supervising direct support personnel in line with quality standards and operating procedures, defines duties, responsibilities and continuous updating and challenging to improve process and increase productivity.

    Maintains a high standard if professional knowledge, ethics, and practices when dealing with customers, suppliers, peers, subordinates and key stakeholders of the company.

    Conducts oneself in a professional manner that reflects integrity and respect towards customers, suppliers, peers, subordinates, and key stakeholders of the company.

    Responsible to take accountabilities on other tasks that will be assigned to him/her from time to time.


    Graduate of Industrial Engineering or any related course from a reputable school/university.

    With 5 to 7 years of work experience as QA Manager in a garment industry with knowledge garment quality standard and processes.

    Ability to exercise good judgment in evaluating situation and making decision.

    Excellent interpersonal skills particularly in dealing with third party inspectors.

    Willing to work in Clark, Pampanga.
