Regional Strategic Sourcing Manager (Procurement)

Salary Range: PHP150,000 and up

Location: EDSA Greenfield, Mandaluyong City

Work from Home or Work on-site

Overview

This position encompasses strategic sourcing activities for the management of Facilities,

Construction, Remodeling and Leases for the region of EWAP (English World and Asia Pacific).

The aim of this position is to deliver value by strategically sourcing and negotiating goods and

services in alignment with business stakeholders needs and requests for the Facilities category.

The main activities linked to this role that are: spend analysis, supplier categorization, supplier

segmentation, sourcing processes, cost management, negotiation, forecasting and

category planning, category market insight, should-cost-modeling and project management.

Responsibilities

The person, in the Regional Strategic Sourcing Manager – Facilities EWAP role, evaluates, leads,

develops and plans the regional Facilities category strategy. This person is responsible for the

“Sourcing to Contract” process, defining the global suppliers base, and ensuring products or

services meet the expectations on quality, availability, flexibility, on-time delivery and cost.

In this role, the person holds the responsibilities to:

• Define the regional strategy and ensure local understandings and implementations of the strategy.

• Align and review with internal customers and stakeholders the regional business needs, to

prioritize strategic initiatives regionally.

• Own the stakeholder relationship and meet with internal customers and stakeholders regularly.

• Ensure the supplier rationalization and cost reductions, through the category strategy.

• Regulate the balance of local and regional vendors to choose the most reliable suppliers that add

the greatest value.

• Negotiate regional and local agreements and support local teams.

• Own the contract supplier roadmap, contract definition, and contract management.

• Plan and ensure smooth suppliers’ transitions.

• Ensure the strategy execution with each country procurement team.

• Ensure business partner alignment with comparison to others company's regional strategies.

• Conduct suppliers’ QBRs

• Review and approve “capex per production seat” projects are in accordance with the Group policy.

• Build and lead cost reductions programs for short, medium and long term.

• Report saving initiatives in the official tracker platform.

• Deliver the most sustainable, quality and cost-cutting goods and services.

• Travel to meet and collaborate with stakeholders, with expectations of up to 25% of the time.

Experience & Qualifications

Education and professional experience

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Supply Chain, Procurement, Sourcing, or related field.

• 10+ years of sourcing experience, with 6+ most recent years in a Facilities, Construction,

Remodeling and Leases category role, including negotiations with international and national

suppliers, through cross functional activities.

• Track record of spend optimization and implementing policies across international divisions.

• Results-oriented, metrics-driven leader purchasing activities, vendor collaboration development

and compliance.

• General contractors’ activities: civil and electrical

• OEM and building equipment

• Lean Six Sigma Experience and Certification (preferred; as Green Belt)

• Strategic Sourcing

• Vendor Risk Management audits

• Supplier development, and QBR / ABR management

• Sustainability programs

• Minimum education level: Bachelor´s Degree
• 10 years of experience
• Language(s): English
