  • Description


    This position exists to support the Business Compliance Manager to execute and ensure that the company is following all ethical and legal requirements by staying up to date on relevant laws and regulations and applying them to company practices to minimize financial and legal risk.


    >With bachelor’s Degree of any course but preferably Legal Management or equivalent

    >With at least 3 years of working experience involving compliance regulatory and corporate governance

    >Recognized legal qualifications from the Philippines and admitted to practice in the Philippines will be an advantage.

    >Experience in working in-house with a multi-national company or with a reputable law firm with responsibility for review, drafting and negotiation of documentation.

    >Experience handling contract reviews, drafting and negotiation.

    >Experience handling employment and litigation matters will be an advantage.



    >Ensure that company comply with industry specifications, standards, regulations, and laws

    >Analyze local laws and regulations in the Philippines affecting the operations of the Company

    >Regularly audit company procedures, practices, and documents to identify possible weaknesses or risks

    >Liaise with external agencies on regulatory matters

    >Perform regulatory risk management

    >Advise management on the company's compliance with laws and regulations through detailed reports


    >Assist in overseeing the implementation of compliance policies and program.

    >Assist in ensuring all business processes and behavior are ethical, and compliant to all applicable laws and regulations.

    >Supports with compliance assessments to identify compliance gaps, issues, and deficiencies.

    >Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations.

    >Performs regulatory and oversight functions on non-compliant cases. Aids with the enforcement of disciplinary compliance guidelines to ensure that all compliance guidelines are being followed and sanctions are appropriately carried out based on the violations / non-compliance committed by the employee. Gives non-biased decisions or disciplinary actions in accordance with the company’s applicable code of conduct or policies and procedures. Writes minutes of ethics committee meetings.

    >Assists with the creation of compliance training or communication materials to heighten compliance awareness within the company and encourage employees to raise their questions/concerns, minimize/prevent non-compliance or make a report for any detected non-compliance freely without fear for any retaliation.
