  • Role:

    The Sales Account Executive will report directly to the Sales Manager. As an Account Executive, you will spend most of your time further qualifying and closing deals with the prospects handed over from the Sales Development Representatives. Our goal is to set you up for success as an AE while providing opportunities for you to grow and advance your career at Lanturn. You will begin your career at Lanturn focusing on corporate sales but on average after 18 months AEs are promoted to manage sales to larger financial services clients.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    - Further qualify incoming leads from SDRs and reach out to target accounts

    - Proactively develop new relationships through phone/email/social media in order to secure meetings with decision-makers and influencers within our target accounts

    - Develop a deep knowledge of our clients and prospects, establishing supportive and collaborative relationships

    - Following up with customers who are interested in our services through to signing of the contract, hand over to the client success team and providing post-sales support

    - Lead negotiations and overcome objections for deal closure

    - Provide initial software product demonstrations to prospective customers

    - Utilize pipeline and CRM tools to ensure information about prospects and clients is recorded and well-maintained

    - Work closely with the Head of Sales, Revenue Operations and Marketing to research target accounts, map user personas, identify key players, generate interest and develop target accounts

    - Sharing feedback from customers on our product offerings to help influence future feature development

    - Work closely with prospects and new clients to increase referrals

    Desired Skills:

    - 3+ years’ experience within a sales or business development role

    - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

    - Experience using CRM systems, such as HubSpot, Pipedrive or Salesforce

    - Ability to host positive and energetic video calls with excellent listening skills and strong verbal communication skills

    - Able to work full-time as part of a remote team (you must have access to a stable internet connection that can support video calls)

    - Have excellent engagement and influencing skills with an ability to establish trusted advisor relationships with business decision-makers

    - Exceptional written communication skills

    - Thrive on working in a fast-paced, start-up environment

    - Have an entrepreneurial spirit with aligned values and mindset: pioneering, fast, driven, excellence, together.

    - Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage a large pipeline of prospects

    - Have strong business acumen and problem-solving skills

    - Be results-oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple objectives

    - Be able to work independently without the need for close supervision

    - Value working in an open and collaborative environment

    - Strong relationship building and relationship management skills
