  • JOB DESCRIPTION
    Job Summary:
    The purpose of this role is to expand existing businesses within LexisNexis’ through retention activities and
    both upsell and cross sell motions. This role requires strong sales skills and an ability to execute on
    disciplined product and marketing campaigns.

    Accountabilities:
    Drive effective sales channel performance through the development and execution of call cycle planning
    and sales campaigns
    Meet telesales team objectives including call rates, conversion rates, campaign deadlines, lead
    qualification, customer data management and revenue targets
    Drive prospecting and retention initiatives
    Actively enrich customer database and contact information
    Effectively identify and develop qualified sales opportunities to develop a sales pipeline using prescribed
    sales methodology
    Collaborate with field sales staff on sizeable opportunities, leveraging senior sales team experience to
    maximize deal potential where applicable

    Qualifications:
    1. 1-3 years of inside sales experience preferably as an account manager
    2. Experience with heavy cold calling volume (50-100 outbound/day)
    3. Great listener, quick thinker, and the ability to work independently and as a team
    4. Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience
    5. Experience in a B2B sales environment preferred
    6. Strong oral and written communication skills
    7. Strong detail orientation with the ability to follow defined processes
    8. Strong time management skills
    9. Must be willing to work on a fixed night shift
