Job Description

Responding to emails by end of day whether there is a solution ready or not;

May include opening/closing duties;

Drive the administrative and support functions in the showroom;

Other responsibilities and accountabilities as assigned by the Marketing Director and/or Sales Director;

Ensure showroom products are tagged;

Accountable for the prevention and resolution of customer issues;

To ensure effective communication with sales, sales support team, and clients;

Ensure all new and current products are on the showroom floor;

Managing displaying, pricing, tagging and sales of all samples;

Assist Senior Sales Executive and Inside sales, appointments and calls;

Offering product and/or delivery solutions;

Support showroom sales by escorting, assisting and providing clients with product knowledge through the showroom;

To maintain good order and positive atmosphere according to company core values and ensure policies are adhered to;

Design the placement of new products when they arrive;

Take full ownership for managing the showroom.

Requirements

Inventive and resilient;

Excellent telephone and email etiquette, professional attitude and integrity;

Ability to effectively manage their time, comfortable with multi-tasking;

Attention to detail and accuracy;

Prior retail, showroom or design firm experience;

Experience with SAP an asset;

Excellent communication skills, as this position is in constant contact with customers, suppliers and management;

Proficient with Microsoft Office (very well versed in Excel is key);

Strong interpersonal skills, personable;

Excellent organizational skills.
