  • Role Purpose:

    Responsible for performing direct selling through knowledgeable, courteous, friendly and efficient customer service. Also maintaining an accurate and authentic record of all transactions involving customers' payments whether cash or charge in consonance with set cashiering systems and procedures.

    Key Accountabilities

    1. Daily Operations

    • Consistently follow and abide by the company’s established registers and cash handling policies and procedures.

    • Attend and assist customers in the selection and choice of merchandise style, color or size.

    • Replenish stocks on display and ensure availability of stocks in the selling area.

    • Arrange display of stocks.

    • Manage all cash / charge transaction and encode customer purchases in POS machine.

    • Ensure availability of cashiering forms/documents and supplies such as POs, charge invoices, sales drafts, journals, receipt rolls, etc.

    • Check and verify accuracy of cashier's entries on sales invoices/tape receipts against merchandise purchased by customer/s.

    • Request cardholder to sign on the charge invoice/sales draft then check signature and picture of cardholder to verify authenticity.

    • Check, verify and confirm validation of credit memos/manually prepared invoices against tape receipts and tags on merchandise.

    • Wrap and seal the items in appropriate plastic bags and attach customers' copy of the sales invoice/tape receipts.

    2. Merchandise Administration

    • Counter check the items (as to quantity/color/size) against the purchase orders/requisitions to ensure accuracy

    • Examine received merchandise to ensure that there is no damage evident and report any damages to immediate supervisor.

    • Prepare requested items and forward/ deliver the same to the selling area.

    • Ensure that all labels are clear and readable.

    • Arrange items in a manner conducive to company policies and practices

    3. Inventory Management

    • Examine merchandise to identify items to be reordered or replenished.

    • Conduct physical inventory of stocks on hand during inventory periods.

    4. Customer Engagement

    • Ensure high levels of customers’ satisfaction through excellent service.

    • Acknowledge the presence of customers, listen and pay attention to their needs.

    • Attend to customer complaints with eagerness and understanding.

  • Language(s): Tagalog ,English
  • Knowledge: Microsoft Word, Customer service, Communication and persuasion, Retail
