SALES TELEMARKETER

We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Telemarketer to generate sales either by cold calling or answering requests in a fast-face environment. You will be responsible for influencing existing or potential customers to buy products and services. A successful telemarketer must be persuasive and able to understand the customer’s requirements in a short time and present solutions that meet their needs. The ideal candidate will also be patient and cool-tempered to deal with aggressiveness and complaints.

The successful candidate will be on a permanent dayshift! and daily reporting is required as this is an office work setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Cold call clients using a given directory and sell products

• Answer incoming calls from prospective customers and take through the sales process

• Ask pertinent questions to understand the customer’s requirements

• Use scripts to provide information about product’s features, price, etc. and present their benefits

• Persuade the customer to buy by demonstrating how merchandise or services meet their needs

• Record the customer’s personal information accurately in a computer system and follow upon initial contracts

• Retain solid relationships with existing customers and listen to their needs and concern

• Identify and overcome objections

• Obtain possible customer leads

• Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales

SKILLS:

• 2 years of proven experience as a telemarketer or similar sales/customer service role

• Ability to remain calm under pressure

• High energy levels

• Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas preferably over the phone

• Persistent and results-oriented

• Patient and able to handle customer rejection

• Superior listening, verbal, and written communication skills

• Skilled in negotiation and dealing with complaints

• Team player

REQUIREMENTS:

• Professional tone

• Proficiency in relevant computer applications and telephone system

• Experience in SAP software is a plus
