  • Roles and Responsibilities

    The Salesforce Specialist is held responsible for the hands-on design and development of custom solutions on the force.com platform including significant work in Apex, Lightning components, VisualForce, Pardot, and integrations with other software systems.

    The other responsibilities of the Salesforce Specialist are to serve as the technical expert on Salesforce.com (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Salesforce Communities, and Pardot); manage day-to-day administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the connected Salesforce platform including Pardot; recommend new features and improvements to optimise the use of our Salesforce platform; work closely with both key business stakeholder, end-users, and technical SMEs alike.

    The Salesforce Specialist is tasked to design, build, deliver and maintain solutions using Salesforce and/or other connected technologies; maintain data management and integrity across Salesforce and its integrations; develop reports and dashboards; uphold and promote best practices, development guidelines as well as security practices; identify risk areas and commit to proactively managing the issue until resolved.

    Required Experience

    - 3-5 years of experience with the force.com product

    - Experience with Sales, Service and/or Community Cloud and Pardot

    - Experience with Flows, APEX and/or Lightning Components

    Minimum Qualifications

    - Tertiary and/or Salesforce certified (Platform App Builder ideal)

    - Working knowledge and understanding of design and development of custom solutions on the force.com platform including significant work in Apex, Lightning components, VisualForce, Pardot and integrations with other software systems

    A Successful Candidate must have

    - Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    - Good understanding of data structures, SOQL, web services & APIs

    - In-depth understanding of Salesforce, its products and associated best practices

    - Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

    - Ability to comfortably challenge the status quo

    - Experience Advantage

    - Exposure to Salesforce1(Mobile), Identity and/or CTI
