 Guide and motivate the sales team, which may include the sales representatives, sales clerk, and sales head.
 Implements appropriate strategies to improve sales.
 Oversee several sales activities aimed at increasing sales.
 Ensure that there is sufficient stock of various products and that the products are priced correctly.
 Evaluate the performance of various products and make a sound business decisions.
 Address customer complaints related to product or service sales.
 Setting goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with the company’s standards.
 Assist the Sales Clerk to display, arrange, price, and rotate products in-store when necessary.
 observing inventory levels; prompting store management when levels appear low; arranging for returns and credit for damaged products.
 Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear out, etc.
 Make sure that the sales clerk properly observed the first in and first out standard procedure.
 Monitor the Sales Clerk for diligently checking the expiry date of the items assigned to them and make sure if there is to immediately report it to the concerned personnel for proper disposition.
 Organizing workflow and ensuring that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks.
 Track/check current stock levels plus pending deliveries vs. Sales trends to alert category merchandising managers of possible stock outs & slow-moving items.
 Remain up to date with the industry’s best practices.
 Monitor attendance of sales clerks and manage absences by re-assigning tasks to remaining staff.
 Assigned to the different sections of the Sales Department whenever necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum education level: Bachelor´s Degree
• 3 years of experience
