  • Our client is a Victorian based group of countries, which includes, a

    growing Commercial Construction company and is a growing low to medium ride

    residential construction firm.

    As an Estimator, you will be working with our other estimators and work closely with the Business Development & Marketing Team, in order to secure further multi-million dollar projects including Education, Government, Institutional, Apartments & Refurbs.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Provide accurate and complete tendering documents within the required timeframe to support our effort in • securing a steady pipeline of works

    • Prepare scope packages for trades to estimate, complete take-offs, review trades pricing, and filling in a full cost estimate

    • Preparing bill of quantities

    • Gather and manage the tender documentation

    • Read and interpret Architectural, Engineering & Services Drawings

    • Preparing scope of works for trades, engaging trades and reviewing trade pricing;

    • Ensure quality trade coverage on all tenders

    • Liaise with subcontractors responding to all applicable RFI's

    • Identify Value Management opportunities

    • Prepare bid/Tender documentation for submitting to client

    • Handover to project team including early identification of procurement items including long lead time items

    Job Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience in Estimating

    • Excellent communication skills

    • Excellent attention to detail

    • Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or Building equivalent

    • Proficient in MS Office and MS Project

    • Buildsoft/Cubit/CostX experience is preferred

    • Background working with Australian constructions is a plus

    Works Schedule: 7am-4pm | Monday to Friday
